Dining and Calendar frustrations

So next week, making ADRs goes back to 180 days, which is great. But our trip is just about to reach 90 days, so it won't make much of a difference for us. What DOES make a difference, is that they have not updated the calendar yet! We're going Jan. 31-Feb. 5, and I can't decide how I want to place all my park days and restaurants until I know the hours! It's driving me crazy!!! I just needed to vent to people who would understand how maddening that is. We should have the hours up at least a week before we're allowed to book ADRs, dont' you think??

That is annoying. I'm not happy they're switching back to the 180 day window to begin with. I live 4 hours away, so I don't think any of my trips have ever been planned 6 months or more in advance. Now I'm afraid I'll never get the ADR's I want when I go!

I just looked at the crowd calendar and your whole stay is only 5's and 6's. So I don't think it will be too much of an issue to plan which parks you go to on which days around when you can get your ADR's. Still annoying, I know, I'm an uber-planner, so this would bother me a lot as well. But good luck!

Thanks for sympathizing. I used to love planning 180 days out...but back then they posted hours that far in advance! Then, they started posting them but changing them so everything you planned would get screwed up, so I was happy when they went to 90 days too.

I'm hoping you are right about us not having trouble booking for that week. I'm assuming that will be true. I just know one of the places we want to get this time is LeCellier, and that always adds it's own level of stress when booking.

Thanks for the encouragement though! It makes me less worried to hear someone else say I should be okay with that week, and not just my own brain.
