Dining and Birthdays

Hello, I've been lurking around for a few months now planning our first trip to WDW. The wealth of info here has been FANTASTIC!! Thank You!

We will be celebrating both of our DD's birthdays while on this trip. When I made our ADR's I did tell them about the b-days.

I have a couple of questions.

1. How do I get a diver with a Happy Birthday message at Coral Reef.

2. Should I call each restaurant individually to let them know about the birthdays.

I know it sounds a little over the top but just trying to create a little extra "magic" for my girls without breaking the bank.

call the restaurant directly at 407-560-6784 for diver arrangements.

as for notations, call disney dining and have the reservations noted as birthdays. also be sure to mention it when checking-in for the adr

Be sure to mention it when you check in. We celebrated 3 of our children's bdays and only at Chef Mickey's did they actually have it noted when we arrived . The other two places (Crystal Palace and Mama Melrose) didn't have it down even though I called ahead.

1) Absolutely.
2) There are only specific times they do this.
3) It is not all day or all night long.

Have you checked out the birthday cake thread that is on this board? It's up at the top. You can order a special birthday cake, if you want, from the various restaurants. Some cakes are nicer than others...depends on how much you want to spend and where you are eating.
