i am going for three days with dw, ds(11) and dd(09). the kids do not care for character meals. we will be on the dining plan. we were thinking of concourse the day we get in because we will not be going to any parks.
we are staying at akl, and going to ak second day. we are going to mk on day three (emh morning) with a break in the afternoon for rest.

can anyone recommend some restaurants (ts or cs) at the parks or the resorts?

thanks

If you are staying at AKL, I suggest trying Boma. There is usually some great stuff there for everyone.

Concourse is a good choice for first night.

AK doesn't have any TS's, so I would use Boma as your TS on that day. Tusker House is good, but the kids might enjoy Flame Tree BBQ. There are tables out back that are nice to sit at and eat.

MK - I like Pinocchio Haus for CS. The panini is yummy and they have pizza for the kids. Alot of people like Cosmic Ray's, I didn't. By the time I went to 2 stations, my food was cold and it was hard with just me and dd because I had to carry the food and keep track of her, so it kind of jaded my experience. For a sit-down lunch, Liberty Tree Tavern is good, but check the menu for the kids as it just changed. I like the Plaza for TS. Reasonably priced and good food, nothing fancy, but good.

Ugh... I just recovered from the pizza at Pinocchio Haus. Please do yourself a favor and get the panini instead, or better yet, aim for someplace else!
