Dining ADR's

I keep reading about horrible wait times when people call for making ADR's with regular resort stays.

If I call MS for dining will I get transferred to the central dining line for ADR's or do we have our own ADR people? I would just hate to be on hold forever on the cell.

think the new system just transfers you.

still it is one of the few toll free ways into dinning these days.

Thanks, I can hold forever on the landline if I dial 800. I sure do hope they dial in the ADR hold times for sanity sake.

I had to call MS today about something else, while going through touch-tone tic-tac-toe, I heard a Dinning Reservations option

I ask the CM if I could have made my ADRs through her instead of WDW-DINE even though we're not on DDP & she said YES.

So I could have saved $10 in long distance charges!

Oh well next trip.

Yea and it would have likely taken you 5x as long to get them done. You should read the horror story thread going right now here in the DVC sections.

I just spent 40 minutes trying to make 2 ADRs through the DVC number. But we were adding the dining plan, so we just toughed it out.

I just called the regular Dining Line (I have free Long Distance) and waited through two Disney songs, so I guess about 5 or 6 minutes, after I got through the options menu.

At least in my own experience, it hasn't been getting someone on the line that's been the problem. It's been once we get someone on the line.

I'm one of the lucky ones whose vacation spans the before & after May 25th.

So I had to be transferred to a CM who could take after May 25th ARDs once I had made my pre-May 25th ADRs. They are getting a new system.

One tip, the CMs who can make after May 25th ADRs can also make before May 25th ADRs (but not visa versa). So if you're in the same boat as me, just route directly through to the new/aftre May25th CMs and they can make all your ADRs.
