Hi,

I usually go to WDW and can book dining for my entire trip when 60 Days open. We are Going to Disney Land checking in 9/30 and check out 10/5. I can only make reservations till 10/3. I have a two day ticket and going to parks on 10/2 and 10/4 with Halloween party on 10/3. Why can't I make dining for 10/4? Is 60 days out for each day and not counting from when you check in? We are staying on-site as well.

The Parks were not crowded when I went but Dining was gone in literal seconds

The system is fine at best

Disneyland doesn't get the massive numbers of week long vacationers like WDW gets so they don't have the 60 +10 for ADRs.

I like it better this way here, but I like WDWs system for over there. Each works for its location and guest mix. Most people at Disneyland are only there for the day.

After not being at DL since 2019 , I leave on Wednesday for my 8 day/7 night trip, I easily made all my reservation for everyday meals at table service restaurants plus my WOC dessert party, Walking with Walt tour, and Plaza Inn parade package. I got everything I wanted. The demand was just not like WDW.

I hope you have a wonderful trip! I know how long you have been planning and looking forward to it.

Yes, it is going to cool down for several days before heating back up. You might even get a rare summer thunderstorm on Thursday! Don't let it catch you off guard! You are coming in at a great time, weather and crowd wise.

I saw that 20% chance of a thunderstorm...I was like Yeah just like on Long Island...we just had a big thunderstorm that just ended. Not predicted but whatever. I have been seeing the monsoon tropical thunderstorms from TS Eugene and the Pacific Ocean and such. I am ready for that! Been following your weather expert and all the local stations so I am ready.
Thanks again!

Hi All -

My first ADR date isn't for another 2 weeks, and from what I gather it'll be a 4+ day in a row event 🤣 but - I'm wondering about the timing? Do ADR reservations open at 12am PST 60 days out? (so, 3am EST), or 6am PST (9am EST)?

It was 6 am Pacific, then 3 am Pacific, then back to 6 am Pacific, except some people were able to book earlier and others weren’t, for unknown reasons. When we were booking for our September trip, one day I was able to book earlier than 6 Pacific, and the next I wasn’t. The latest twist is people reporting being able to book the night before in some instances:

I am trying to book BB for the 30th of October, the site says it is available but nothing comes up, I rang to enquire and as told you can only book online and each restaurant puts its availability up when it chooses, they do not have to put it up at exactly 60 days.
