DINGs MHT-MCO late august?

I have checked the DING history thread and don't think I missed one. I also see that last year there were at least 3 DING offers that would have applied to my flights by now.

Just wondering if anybody else is waiting for cheaper flights out of Manchester for late august? Maybe this year they have cut back on the number of DINGs being offered???

Dings from MHT to MCO or TPA have been pretty much non-existent. I did see one for TPA last week. It also seems like the prices were creeping up which means the planes were filling up. PVD to TPA and MCO has had no Dings yet that I've seen.

I finally punted on SWA and booked JB for BOS to TPA outbound and MCO to BOS return for my late August WDW trip. All in including paying $25 each way for extra leg room seats for me, we averaged $212 roundtrip. Our Alamo rental for pickup TPA and return to MCO was the same price ($252 all in for a fullsize) as pickup/return to the same place. The reason for the TPA outbound destination is that the early morning flight there was much cheaper than the two MCO early direct flights which must be close to full.

So given I've stopped waiting for Dings, hopefully you'll now get a great Ding that i wasn't patient enough for

You're right about the early morn flights, we booked a while back and the price is way up there now. I figured the same thing about the planes filling up. They must have less flights going compared to other years? I figured with the economy there would be less passengers, but if they have less flights, that might explain it.

We are lucky to be equidistant to Logan or MHT, so we fly to Orlando from both. SW fares have not been great at all, and the number of nonstops have dropped considerably. Now if I see a good fare on Jetblue I jump on it. SW's fares aren't low enough to justify dealing with having to worry about checking in online exactly 24 hours in advance of your flight to get an "A" boarding pass, or not being able to do Resort Check in.
