ding still not working

Dings are not working for me. I get the messages but when I click on them nothing opens for me. It getting very frustrating. Any ideas

I'm having a similar problem. Ding has worked for we without problem for the past 2 years, then about a month or so ago it started giving me the error message of the program not responding whenever I tried to access it. It was working fine one day and then wouldn't the next. I have no idea what went wrong, the computer had not even been turned off. My Ding icon will indicate there is a new ding and when I click on the icon the little pop-up box works fine, but once I click on the little blurb in the pop-up box a new browser window opens with the actual Ding fares. This is where I encounter the problem. The browser opens and displays the fares but then immediately locks up and I can't navigate the page or click on any of the fares, and the little hourglass shows whenever I try to click on anything. I am able to click the "X" at the top right hand corner to close the browser but then I get a microsoft explorer pop-up window that says the program is not responding and lets me chose to end the program. Then once it closes another message pops up and asks me if I want to send the error report to Microsoft.

I am just stumped as to how to fix this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Ding twice and the problem still persist!! I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just subscribing, I am having the same problem on my DH's computer, but it works fine on mine. Really a pain, but at least I'm getting my messages.

have you tried turning off your antivirus and then download the Ding?
I had to do this awhile ago.

Last time it happened ( don't remember when) I had to uninstall the Ding, check my recycle bin and empty anything Dingy, then disable my Norton and then download again. It 's been working fine since .

I had the same problem. My solution: Internet explorer was not my default browser. Once I corrected that, then I was able to click on the links.

Cyn- it is the automatic update on fares from Southwest Airlines. It gives special deals that you can't book anywhere else. Only certain flights at certain times. Go to www.southwest.com and it will explain how to download the update onto your computer.
