if you book something on SWA
and then you find a cheaper fare posted, you can cancel without penalty and get ticketless travel funds for the amount of the original fare that can be used to book another flight....
in this case, since you are going from a "regular" fare to a DING fare you will have to cancel first and then book through DING using the "ticketless travel funds" that is attached to your LOCATOR ( the reservation number issued )
any funds over and above your new booking will stay in your "ticketless travel funds" but must be used 1 year to the date from your first booking ( but sometimes can be extended with a voucher past that year time at the discretion SWA agent, the only downside with a voucher .....you cannot use it to book ONLINE, you have to purchase at the airport )
