Ding question...can I do this?

Currently we have a flight from PHL-TPA for our June trip. Let's just say that we get a ding that would allow us to fly into MCO instead for less $$. Can I cancel and rebook that flight or would that not be allowed b/c it's essentially a different route.

I can't give you a 100% absolute that there won't be a problem, but I have cancelled and rebooked fares a few times, without penaly.

Yes you can do that . It doesn't matter where only when (1 year without extension) you book using it. I have used a TTV from LAX to MCO before.
