We're scheduled to leave tomorrow at 7:15pm out of BUF. I've been trying since 7:15 to get my boarding pass but it keeps telling me

"What happened?
The request to check in online and print a Boarding Pass cannot be processed due to Southwest Airlines procedures, requirements or fare rules.
What you need to do:
Please check in at the airport at a Southwest Airlines Skycap podium, Ticket Counter, or RAPID CHECKIN kiosk to obtain your Boarding Pass or Security Document before proceeding to the security checkpoint "

Is it a Central Time Zone thing?
Has anyone encountered this problem before?
Should I just keep trying?

Thanks, I'm getting a little panicky.

Tony

Tony can you put in your confirmation number and name and bring up your reservation? Does it say "available" in green beside each of the flights?

Hi Julie, When I put in my confirmation number the next screen just shows the error and says check at the airport. I just got off the phone with SWA and they couldn't do anything---at least they confirmed I am on the flight tomorrow night, they haven't lost my reservation or anything. We'll just get the boarding pass at the airport tomorrow.
Thanks
Tony

That's really strange Tony. DH had no trouble getting his boarding pass this morning for a flight out tomorrow morning, for a business trip.

One thing I've noticed in the past was to be careful in not getting the number zero and the letter O mixed up when typing in your confirmation number. Just a thought if your confirmation number contains those.

Maybe they can give you an answer at the check-in desk...let us know!

In the meantime, have a wonderul trip! Be sure to post a trip report when you get back! :)

Tony, you're probably at the Airport already!

Have A Safe Flight!

But it looks like you were picked for Airport Screening!

No Biggie

Sorry I saw this too late - but for what it is worth this happened to us as well. Turns out we were 'flagged' in their system as god knows what - potential terrorists I suppose. Anyway, we have a really common last name so there are mix-ups occasionally. Anyway, we couldn't print out our boarding pass, and asked at the check-in window what was up. She explained about the being flagged. Basically had to ask us a few questions - kinda like customs - and we were on our way. I imagine Tony experienced something like that.
