I was able to book Pittsburgh to MCO last month for $71 each way. A ding came up last week for one way of the trip and I saved an additional $36.

Saved over $470 flying out of PIT instead of BUF. Sure it's $40 in gas and a total of 6 hours more driving but we also get to do some tax free shopping at Grove city on the way home.

Still hoping for a Ding out of BUF but I don't think it is going to happen with our travel dates.

Hey, we are doing the same thing come August. We are actually going down a couple days early to do the shopping. We used airmiles for a hotel right across the street.
Never flown out of Pittsburgh, when are you going? If you going before the end of August please share your experience when you get back.

We fly out the evening of the 16th of August and return mid-afternoon on the 25th.

This year we timed out flights so we don't need a hotel. We'll be using the on site parking and shuttle.

Flown out of PIT on several occasions.
Stayed at the Sheraton Four Points &
La Quinta Inn. Great Airport nice mall airside & lots of food choices.
There is an anti-gouging policy at the Pittsburgh Airport what ever the stores sell must be in line with regular stores so no $8.00 bottles of juice.

Here's a large mall and many other stores abot 5 minutes from the airport.

Grove city is only about an hour away from the Airport.

Many great back to school savings especially if you are there on Labour Day week-end.

Hey thanks for the info. We will be leaving Aug 24th returning Aug 31. We are staying in Grove City for 2 nights to do some shopping before we go to WDW. Our flight out of Pittsburgh is $606.00 for 3 seats and an infant in lap. I just checked westjet out of Toronto. $3576.00

$616 for the 4 of us return. Buffalo was $1092. Pearson didn't even bother but I'm figuring around $2400.
