DING fares over Thanksgiving?

Just wondering who (if anyone) has had success in getting a DING fare to Orlando over Thanksgiving. We were supposed to be at WDW currently (7-1 through 7-5) but due to a family injury had to cancel. I can only travel during school breaks (school mental health counselor), so this is the best option for us. The flights are currently about $450 per person, and I'd love to get closer to $150-$200 per person. Has anyone ever gotten a DING fare close to this? If so, about how far out from T-Day did you get the fare?

Last year I got a DING for PHL-MCO and it was for $39 pp o/w. I flew in on Wednesday, ate Thursday and flew back Friday. I can't remember when the DING came through but it wasn't long....maybe a month before?

That's incredible! Thanks so much for posting. Now I just have to decide if I'm brave enough to wait until that close. Although we do have several options within 3 hours distance - Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, or Pittsburg.

Don't know about Orlando, but SWA usually puts several routes on sale in late September/early October. No blackout dates for Thanksgiving. Gotta luv that.
