I just wanted to check if I purchase a Ding fare and I am unable to go on the flight. Am I wrong or will they give me a credit for the flight?
Southwest Airlines Fares (VDINGNR)
Fare is valid for travel with the following rules:
This fare is available for one-way travel.
Fare is only available for travel purchased through the Southwest Airlines web site.
Fares do not include a federal excise tax of up to $3.30 that will be imposed for each flight segment of your itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing.
Fares do not include airport-assessed passenger facility charges (PFC) of up to $9 and government-imposed September 11th Security Fee of up to $5 one-way.
Seats are limited and won't be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times and holiday periods.
Fare may be combined with other combinable fares.
Fare is not combinable with Senior Fares.
When combining fares, all rules and restrictions apply.
Changes to any portion of the reservation (flight, dates, cities, and/or names of passengers) once purchased will result in the cancellation of the ENTIRE reservation and rebooking at the lowest fare available which could result in a fare increase.
Fares are nonrefundable, but (except for tickets purchased through our Group Tickets Program) may be applied toward future travel on Southwest Airlines.
Ticketless Travel may be purchased online using any combination of 1 credit card, up to 4 southwestgiftcards, and funds from up to 4 previously unused or cancelled Ticketless Travel reservation(s).
Southwest Airlines' travel vouchers, paper gift certificates, and discount coupons may not be used as forms of payment for Ticketless Travel.
Ticketless Travel funds from previously unused reservations on Southwest Airlines are valid for 12 months from the original purchase date and may not be extended.
Standby travel requires an upgrade to the full unrestricted fare.
So???? Did read this correctly? I see no change fee other than if the new flight is more $$.
so
