Diner for 2 but maybe 3

We are going back home in May it is normally the 2 of us but my cousin might be coming and will not know until late April should I make reservations now for just 2 or 3. Not sure how to do this. We are not going to use the dine plan this trip but the TIW.

Make for three. If you make for three and end up with two, it will be easy to seat you and you won't have a penalty for having only two. If you make it for two and then try to add one later, you might not even be able to get a changed reservation to three.
