It's at the Brown Derby. Fills up very quickly.

It's lunch at noon on Monday/Wednesday/Friday, I believe.

We've done it twice. It was fun and the food was good - but a big meal at lunch lol.

I've done the lunch 5 times! Like someone said, it is Mon, Wed, and Friday. I noticed there are 2 weeks in April when it is not being done, likely due to holidays. I picked up a cancelation near the end of April which happens to be on my birthday!! I highly recommend it.....my experiences have varied, but normally excellent!

Also, the dinner with the imagineer is once a month, usually the first Thursday of the month if it's not close to a holiday time, at Citricos. Seems I am never there at that time so I haven't done the dinner.

Be aware if you have kids, that they changed the age requirement for lunch at the Brown Derby from 10 to 14. DD (11) wants to be an imagineer when she grows up. Last year the age for lunch was 10, and I tried and tried to get an ADR, but never had any luck. In a bit of Disney magic, while at WDW, we were lucky enough to have a CM be seated at our table at Biergarten-- she was not an imagineer, but was trying to work her way into being an imagineer. She and DD talked the entire dinner. Hopefully, she didn't mind. DD was thrilled. This year, I was so excited to be able to find an ADR for the imagineer lunch and knew she would be thrilled (especially after watching her interact with the CM last year- and now that she is into every behind the scenes Disney video she can find), and then I could not put her on the reservation because the age limit changed and she is only 11.

DS will only be 11 too, and would LOVE this (he wan't to be an architect who designs leisure buildings / eco hotels) But he is not 14 (

We're both architects and it's the only ADR DH has asked for. But it means getting a babysitter during the day - ours are 5 & 3. Which might be a waste.
Will try for an ADR and then make the decision!

Just curious...what do you talk about? What's it like?

The conversation depends on the Imagineer and where he or she is located and what their job is. They usually talk a little bit about what they do and then are open to questions. There are normally a lot of questions. Of course, they can't talk about issues that aren't open for publication so you won't be hearing any "secret" news! Some Imagineers are more talkative and open than others.

The meal is a 4 course meal, so make sure you're hungry! Great food! Each experience is different.

You will get a plate at the end in which the Imagineer will sign. You also get a menu for the event which the Imagineer will sign and they will take photos with you.
