Dilemma regarding Cozumel....

Hi all....I am booked for the dolpin adventure in Chankanaab at 3pm. My 17 year old son and his 17 yr old gf....are going with me but not interested in the dolphin thing. Anyway, my dilemma.....we ALL really wanted to see Paradise Beach because everyone raves about its beauty and how much fun they had but I am not sure I can swing it ..... getting to Cozumel at 1030...off the ship by 1130 and trying to go to Paradise Beach until 230 and then rushing to Chankanaab. Is this a possibility or should we all just go to Chankanaab? I really dont think it is wise to leave two 17 year olds at Paradise Beach while I run over to Chank to do my excursion.....UGH I dont know. Anyone with advice?????

Anyone can tell me something great about Chankanaab so that I will feel like I am not depriving my son of the Paradise Beach experience??? Help!!!!

We did Paradise Beach in Cozumel. I know we passed Chakanaab Park on the way. I don't think they are very far apart. Maybe a few miles. The beach was nice but seemed pretty small to me. There were alot of people there. My husband rented a jetski for $55. It was a nice beach but if I had to do over I would do the dolphin excursion. You can go to another beach on your cruise and I think it would be just as nice.

LOVED Chankanaub beach and thought it was beuatiful. We had previously been to San Fransisco beach (in Cozumel) and it didn't even compare. I would be happy to e-mail you pics, or if someone tells me how to attatch them?!? I'll try, but I think you will be pleasantly surprised. The only thing is there is not much of a beach....let me refraze (sp?) there is a beach, but when you want to go into the water, there is no gradual entrance, it is about 8 feet immediately in most places....there is soooo much salt though, you hardly need to dog paddle.
Anyway, I have beautiful pics if you want to see them.
