I've been dying to get a digital SLR, mainly to get rid of the lag.
I've had a couple of point and shoot digitals, and my last one was decent, but not great, and DH ruined it in Florida last month.
So, since I am in the market for a camera, I picket out the Rebel XT, but now I'm starting to second guess myself. By the time I pick up the camera, and a lens or two, and a flash, and who knows what else, I'll have quite a bit of money tied up, probably more than I want to at this point.
Anyone have any good recommendations for a digital point and shoot? Has the lag issue gotten any better since I bought my last one or am I best to stick with my original plan of a digital SLR?
I'm really pretty clueless with talk of f stops and apertures, etc.
