I have used a couple of programs. One is downloadable and is my favorite: www.flipalbum.com. It says its for website type photo albums, but I have made them and then copied them onto photo paper and had a wonderful album. I never knew there was double sided photo paper until I started using this program. I gave one to mom as a gift for Mother's Day. I had it spiral bound and she loved it. I am finding that if I can do my albums this way, I get the pictures into print much faster because I don't have to worry about exactly what embellishments I am going to put on the page. You can adjust the size of your pictures on the page as well as put any number of pictures on the 8 1/2 x 11 page. I also have Scrapbook Factory by Art Explosion but I don't use it as much.
There are now hundreds of DS sites on the web, the best are DSP and SBB.. You can find links to them, and many more and also to my digital layouts on my website (www.renysplace.com) . I am actually creating layouts for Disney trip now so all I have to do is insert pictures after my trip in October..
