I love the first page...it was really hard to fit all the text though! I am not sure yet about the 2nd page...I like it but not sure if it looks quite right...

Thanks for looking,
Jessica

Jessica -

That is such a sweet story. What a great surprise and what a lovely engagement ring. I love how your first page looks like a wrapped presant!!!

All the wonderful layouts in this thread have inspired me to rework some of my pages. I thought I would share this page that I reworked.

Here is the original page:

Now it is 4 pages:

Thank you all for posting your layouts and inspiring me....

Lisa & Fran - Thank you!!! I do like the pictures better separated. Originally I just put all the pics on one page just to be done with it. Now that I have found many great new elements thanks to Chris (aka Seebee) and Kelly (aka Renysmom) and seeing all the wonderful pages here, I was inspired to be more creative and do more pages. Going back thru all the pages I have done, there are a few more that I am not thrilled with that I want to try to rework. I just love Digital Scrapping because it makes doing this so easy (unlike reworking a layout that had been scrapped traditionally)

I agree...digital is so much easier. Be careful though looking back & re-doing pages. I was told once, when I first started scrapping, not to do that or I'd constantly be re-doing pages as my style & scrapping trends change. I look back at some of my earlier pages & go "ugggggh...what was I thinking". But you know, others still look at them when they come over & think they are wonderful. :lmao:

I do occasionally re-do a page though. What I like about digital is the ability to change things so easily. I typically scrap a page then open it up a few days later & look at it again. Usually if there's something I'm going to end up changing, it pops out at me the minute I take a fresh look at it.

I love seeing everyone's layouts...keep posting. I'm leaving for Disney tomorrow (I know...poor me ;) ) so won't be online much but I will have my laptop with me & hope to check in now & again to see what's been posted. Happy scrapping everyone. :)

Cute pages (and kids!). Can you tell me how you filled in your letters the way you did? (Like in Daisy Duck?) Also, how did you fill in the Mickey Flower with that print (same layout!) Your pages are great...I know how you are feeling since I am working on re-doing mine now that I know a little more about my program.

Thanks,
Jessica

Jessica - I sent you a PM since the explaination was kind of long when I typed it all out....

I love the re-worked pages! I think it looks great to highlight each of the characters on their own pages. I think when the kids look back on them they will enjoy each of the pictures more. Great job! I need to get going and decide which software I am going to upgrade. I am having trouble choosing Corel Paint shop because I don't like their wordperfect or spreadsheet programs. Don't like is not a strong enough word. I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a program either though. Until I decide I will keep enjoying these awesome pages that you guys are kicking out. Way to go!!!

Here are some of my first pages, I never really got into paper scrapbooking and these are my first real digital ones. I have a degree in graphic design this should be easy but, I am rusty. :rotfl: They are not 100% done I need to add a few more little embellishments. Any suggestions.

Your pages are great...if that is "rusty" I can't wait to see what else you can do! :thumbsup2

You baby is so sweet...I love your first (travelling) page. I forgot to take pics on the plane this time (our plane was very delayed - my fam probably would have killed me, lol. We didn't get to Disney until 3 am)
