As I posted above, I would be very interested in a PS action, should Melissa decide to do this, but, in the meantime, Shape Collage showed up on my RSS feed this morning as a Mac Gem (it's also available for Windows/Linux). It's a program that creates collages in any shape you can think of, including text/dingbats. It's highly customizable (border colors/widths, photo spacing, etc.), and seems to work very well. Best of all, it's free (well, to be fair, it's donation ware). Have fun.

(Cr*ap - I don't have enough posts to show you a link but you can google Shape Collage. I even had a screen shot of my Mickey head :()
(BTW, I'm not affliated with Shape Collage in any way, it was just serendipity
that I heard of it this week, when I was interested in collages)

thank you so much for sharing that. it is a really neat little program and really easy to use

I've been playing around with Shape Collage this morning, and I agree it is a neat little program!

You don't have to use a lot of photos ... I did this quickie with just 5.

Very nice, CC. I never thought of doing a non-shaped collage with it, if you know what I mean, but it did a great job - nice randomness and of course all the bordering/shadowing can be done for you, making it a real time saver.

Great job!!!

This weekend was the first time I scrapped in months (I got completely burnt out). Anyway, I just uploaded 22 layouts to my site.. Too many to flood you guys with here so please take a look here and let me know what you think.

Thanks''

I haven't posted my LOs here this month! Here are my Disney related ones that I didn't post already for the DIS challenges. I'll post some non Disney ones later. :) Click for credits.

Thanks to the post on pg 47 from tlrowley, I went to download Shape Collage. It took me 3 tries, and only about 5 minutes, to get a Mickey shape. Anyway, it's not my most thought-out LO ever, but here is my try with the collage software (a scraplift of Yzerbear19, of course):

Wow what a great thread for getting started for my trip ideas. Looking forward to "attempting" to post!

Hi all, I have been doing Disney Nights for my sisters since my husband and I decided to take them on a surprise trip to Disney this coming September. I have started scrapping all of these. I am planning on getting a book from blurb made and including them in the big reveal to the girls. If you want to know more about it, check out my PTR linked to in my signature. Hope you enjoy these! Tell me what you think. P.S. All of the journaling came from my PTR... cute way to use these boards for good, right?!

These first ones are from our "Incredibles" night.

Hi girls!! I have two pages to share with you today!! (click images for credits)

My first one is a 2-pager from my Oct. '07 trip to Disneyland. We went with my SIL and her boys.

And this one is from our most recent trip in Feb. of '09, riding Casey Jr. in Fantasyland!

Here are my two layouts with Britt and Krista's FABULOUS new collab kit "Land of Fantasy."

Dare to Fly - Photos from Disneyland in 2008.

How do you take your tea? - Photos from Walt Disney World in 2009.

And the two page layout I did with WM [Squared] Designs' new kit, "Beach Bum."

Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse - Photos from August 2008.

I couldn't sleep tonight, so I ended up scrapping 3 LOs. ;) One is for the challenge, so it's in that thread. Here are the 2 others, mostly thanks to Britt & Krista's adorable new kit.

I went to Disney when I was 5, and, for years, I've been going crazy trying to find the pics from that trip. I can see the photo album in my mind, I know where it *was* (and my mom agrees), but it's not there. Recently, I was looking for pics to scan for one of Britt's My Story Matters challenge, couldn't find the pic I was looking for, and then I saw another box that I remembered had pics, too (I hadn't looked at it in years, probably.) I spent a few hours looking through the pics (I really, really need to sort them!), found the pic I was looking for, but also found some strange pics. As I kept staring at it, I realized it was Disney, it was the Electrical Parade! Bad pics, lol, but still! There was about 5 envelopes together. Not many pics, but I realized these are probably the ones that didn't make it into the album (since none of them were good.) But all the envelopes had negatives in them, and I could see they were all the Disney pics! I brought them to be put on CD the other day. There are 2 disks we have to send away, since no one else seems to develop that type of film anymore (and I NEED those, I can see tiny me in a teacup! ;)) I really, really need to finish my '07 trip, but I have to scrap these pics. :D

OK, way too long a story, but here's the first LO

This one is from the '07 trip (kind of a continuation from the China LO, so I didn't add a title)

Heather...How neat that you found those negatives and can now scrap the pics! Maybe you've given me the push I need to search out my negatives from trips during the early '80's and get those on a cd. However, finding the negatives is a whole different story!

I am so THRILLED you found those photos. That is just awesome!
