Digital Scrapbooking?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for how to begin digital scrapbooking? After fighting with my book this weekend I've decided I need a break from traditional scrapbooking. Not having just the right color paper, the right picture, can't find the piece I'm looking for, or not having it be the right size.....I'm done for a while. Have been thinking about going digital for a while, but I think now is the time.
Googled, but came up with WAY too many opinions.
(And, after drooling over Natalie's designs for quite some time, I can no longer resist.)
So....anyone wanna share their secret?

I use Storybook Creator Plus by Creative Memories. I bought it b/c it was on sale and I wanted to be able to use CM's Disney digi-content (which is no longer available). That said, I'd recommend Panstoria's Artisan (http://www.panstoria.com/artisan/overview/) ... Panstoria is the developer of CM's SBC+.

Artisan can use CM's .page files, and many digital template designers (Little Green Frog Designs, Fiddle Dee Dee Designs and Cindy Schnieder to name a few) offer .page files in their templates packages.

Artisan sells for $39.95 and I believe you can install it on two computers. SBC+ sells for $64.95 I believe and can only be installed on a single computer.

I just did my first all digital page (not counting my christmas card) I got a whole bunch of freebies to start out with and may buy some kits in the future. I am going to use digital pages as catch up for the things I want scrapped but dont have what I want/need for it.

I use the Storybook Creator too, I've had it for a long time and just save my pages as .jpg to print anywhere.

I cant recommend any other programs.

But it sure is nice to use the same piece of paper more than once
