Digital Scrapbooking ONLY-How do you organize your Files?

I've just started digital and have sorted mine according to their theme (Christmas, Disney, Birthday, Family, Summer, Winter, etc.)

Other things I sort according to what they are (alphabets, overlays, etc.)

So far it's working for me but then again I just got started so I don't have too much to sort yet. :confused3

i would love to have some ideas. I was saving my kits per designer, but then all the freebies i had, i would delete the stuff from kits that i would not use, and then it got overwhelming to find stuff. I would like to do something that is more organized as i have alot of stuff :rolleyes1

I think i need to actually go through and delete the stuff i know i will never use, but trying to organize will be the killer! :scared1:

I had been doing more digital, but haven't done it in awhile. Right now, and this could change when I get more into it, I have it all sorted into separate folders.
For example:
>Paper
>>Blues
>>Pinks
>>Polka dots
etc.

I also have folders for:
>Elements
>>Swirls
>>Buttons
>>Clips
>>Ribbon
etc.

Then the alphabets I have in folders by their name and if the name is not indicative of what they look like I'll add a word or two at the end of the name, like "silver" or "bold" and that helps me find what I want a little better. Holidays have their own folders, separated by paper, elements, etc.

HTH!

I keep my supplies organized by kit, I don't ever separate them. I use SBC+, so my pages are arraged by book, which makes them easy to find. When I save them as .jpgs, they are named book name_pg1 etc, so again, very easy to find!
