I agree that there are limitations with today's printers. The only comment that I would have is that one of the advantages of a digital camera is that the images will last forever (as long as you back-up) at the same quality so although the printers that are available today can't always utilize the best quality file today in the future they will be able to and with disk space so cheap (about 1.00 per gig if you watch for sales) and the abilty to store about 200 high resolution pictures for 1.00 my plan is to have the highest quality jpeg that I can. You can always make them smaller but you can't make them bigger.
