I want to do a craft with some photos for a Christmas present- Where is the cheapest place for me to get them printed? Should I subscribe to a site like snapfish and get them printed there or should I bring the stuff in to a store? Which site or which store?

TIA

How many do you need? You can join a website and get free prints. With a code, you can usually get 50 free prints from winkflash.com. They are my favorite. Their regular price for prints is only .12 and shipping is only .99. Snapfish.com usually gives 25 free prints, I think and they are pretty cheap as well,b ut shipping is higher than winkflash. most other sites will give you 10-20 free prints (ofoto, shutterfly, york, etc.) Or you can go to walmart and order them or even upload them to walmart.com and pick them up in walmart. I think walmarts prints are .15 each, not bad because there is no shipping.

Awesome- I'll be looking for a winkflash.com code... I dont need more than 30 pictures :flower:

Anyone have a code?

Around here, Wal-Mart is $.18 each for the 1-hour service or $.28 each for the instant ones. I've used a couple of the online services, but I actually prefer going to Wal-Mart even though it costs a few cents more. It saves me the time sitting at the computer and uploading everything. I can zip through them quickly at the kiosk, do some shopping while they print them and leave with photos in hand.

I also prefer to walk into Walmart. It is much faster over all and only a little more expensive. My Walmart makes excellent quality prints on good paper. If I need 100 prints I might go to an online source for the savings but for 20-30 we are talking a buck or two. I find uploading photos frustratingly slow on any site . Ofoto is the best so far for that, for me (I use a Mac). But still a bit of a pain.

If you prefer going to the store - do you have a CVS near you? This week they have a special - you can get 5 free prints. I have one a couple blocks from my house. When they run this special, I go there every day and get 5 free prints each day. It's a little inconvenient only doing 5 at a time, but it's not out of my way - I go past the store every day on my way to work.

Walmart isn't an option right now... the closest one is about a half hour away -Surprising considering I live in a major metropolitan area (Wash DC)
