Digital Photo Frames-Help! (Need Help Again! Please!)

I had decided to uy these frames for my Dad and MIL after racking my brain on what to get.

With new twins its difficult to get out so I started calling and could not find anywhere. Finally I found 2 at Walmart in Niagara Falls and asked them to hold them for me.

Long story short, I called before leaving for the hour drive and they sold one of them.

Does anyone have any idea on where to find these now. I called Staples, Henry's, Future Shop, Best Buy and of course Walmart.

This seems to be the Christmas gifts for adults this year!!

Any help would be appreciated.

I bought a Phillips one at Black's in Cambridge a couple of weeks ago. I sat down last night to set it up so when my parents open it - it will be all set up for them with pictures from my baking day with my DD & 2 DNephews earlier this month. Sorting out how it works, uploading about 40 pictures, rotating some etc. took me less than an hour.

I have been looking at them a lot. The Phillips one was a little more, but worth it for our purpose. You can pop in either SD memory card or Compact Flash card. (their camera uses CF mine uses SD) You can also store up to 50 photos on the frame. It will also do a timed slideshow of the photos stored everyday if you program it. This one doesn't do video clips, but has a rechargable battery so you can pass it around. This was important for us, because my parents have NEVER printed their pictures so you can imagine when they get together with their siblings and want to show off the pics of the grandkids - passing around the cameras!

They do have these at Walmart. They are a bigger image size and cheaper than you find at many other places.

I just confirmed this with the local photo lab manager (DW).

Uh oh... this just in...

It seems even most of the Walmarts have run out of the frames. You can have you local one check to see if any others in the region have some.

Just got one from Sears, two days order from catalog store.

Walmart everywhere is out of them and not expecting any.

I tried Sears but cannot find them in the catalog. Looked online and called CS and they cannot find them.
Can you tell me how you ordered it???

Purchased it in the Electronics Dept at the Sears Store in Ajax, but it was out of stock in the store, so they shipped it through the catalogue department. Have looked on the package, but can't find a catalogue number.
Maybe you could go to a Sears store and check in the electronics department.

Great News...I found the last one at Sears in Hamilton.

I called all the other stores and the cataloge dept and no one has them left. I was going to exchange the Walmart one I bought for this one as it seems better but I will have to stick with what I have.

I just picked up the frame from Sears and ready to wrap it and it has been used!!

There are chips on the bottom and it looks like someone touched them up with marker!!!

I called the store and they cannot get them from anywhere!!

I am really upset because I know I am not going to find them anywhere right now.

Anyway, if anyone happens to see them, please let me know.
