Can you go to Guest Services and pick up physical park tickets if you ordered the eTickets online? Is it worth standing in line to do this? If so, is there a "best" Guest Services area to go to...i.e. one that is less busy?

I'm mostly wondering because of the "insert tickets into the FP machine" instructions. Being a complete Disneyland noob, I wasn't sure how I was supposed to "insert" an eTicket...haha! :) Less important is the effort to conserve my phone battery.

Thanks in advance!

We had ticket vouchers and were swapped out for physical tickets at the gate.

Good to know! I have printed a copy of our tickets too (because I'm a type A, OCD, overly-prepared individual...:D) So maybe that will work in a similar way to your ticket vouchers.

To answer your question, no, they will not exchange an e-Ticket for a paper ticket at the ticket windows, you must do it at the turnstiles on the first day of entry.

That aid, it is a quick and easy process, every turnstile has a printer with the cardboard stock for the physical ticket, which is used for the FastPass machines, and for re-entry. They will scan the ticket, and print it in just a couple of seconds. But they also will take your photo and ask you to write your name on your ticket. This photo is used every time you re-enter the park to prevent ticket abuse. Whole process takes about a minute per person, and all entrances are the same, there are no special express lanes, or anything like that. (The one thing that is separated in the early morning, Lines for Early Entry/Magic Mornings, and ones for those who don't get it. That is the only time you need to verify if you are in the correct line.)

If you have a true ticket voucher (no barcode and doesn't say e-ticket), those must be redeemed at at Ticket Window and can be done in advance (aka the night before). Something like something from aRes, Australian special tickets or a SoCal CityPass. The voucher clearlystates to take it to a ticket window. So just read the ticket. Most vouchers are e-Tickets, and clearly state it on the piece of paper or smartphone app.

This will be our first trip using an e-ticket so this is good to know that we go right to the turnstiles......can't wait to get there in just under 2 weeks.

This is even better news than I was hoping for. :) Thank you so much for the explanation! Any new process just goes so much more smoothly when I know exactly what to expect. I really appreciate your help!!
