I am adding our digital cards in preparation for our first trip since COVID coming up in May.

We bought resale in April 2015 and have always been able to get discounts, Moonlight Magic, etc. My understanding has always been that we have been grandfathered in for most of the changes since. I spoke with DVC member services today and she looked and said I should have DVC-Y on my card. I just finished getting it all set up and it has DVC-ND which I see means not eligible for Membership extras.

Should I have DVC-Y on my card? And if so, who do I contact to correct this?
Thanks!

Join the crowd.

Yes, you should have DVC Y on your card.

Apparently, you just have to wait it out with the rest of us.

Join the club. It's a known issue they are allegedly working on. I'm a 2014 grandfathered resale owner and have ND too.

There have been a lot of issues with many, if not most, resale owners who are grandfathered in with ND instead of Y. However, we are finally getting reports those are starting to become correct. I think it will take them awhile to get to everyone, but the fact that it is happening, means at least it is being worked on!

Just a follow up to this...I just checked our digital cards for the first time as we are traveling to WDW next week, and ours don't say Y or ND. It just says DVC on its own. Is that in line with what others are seeing? (I printed a temp blue card from the DVC site to have, just in case.)

Mine says ND but when I used mobile checkout when in a Disney gift shop last month, I got the 20% DVC discount.

It should be under affiliations. If it just says DVC, then it means you are impacted and it will get fixed at some point.

Just have the digital card with you as CMs know this is still being fixed.

You definitely should have a Y....Mine just got corrected today....but hang tight, as these are being auto corrected by Disney...

Thank you! So I don't need to contact anyone to ask for it to be corrected?

Thanks. Yes. Strange. Glad I checked. Is there any point in calling anyone or is it one of those back-end issues that phone support wouldn't be able to help with. My wife's card doesn't even say DVC and she normally had a blue card with the physical cards.

I would not call because honestly, they know and from the reports, some people have seen the update with no call and some that did call are still waiting. Doesn't seem like rhyme or reason as to how the batch fixing is happening.

Also, your wife will only see it if she has her own DVC account set up and her own MDE account. If she does not have her own DVC log in already, then you need to get her club ID and activation code from MS, set it up, then set up her own MDE account to load her own MM pass.

She doesn't ever have to use those, but does need them for the digital card.
