Please help! I am looking for a digital camera and need some advice. I have very little knowledge on digital cameras and I probably am not even aware of all the extras. My main uses would be to put pictures on the internet: school websites, ebay and sending e-mail. I would also be printing pictures out. I would like to keep the price down; however, I am willing to pay a little more for the quality. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Just so I have somewhere to start.

We recently bought the Kodak DX4330. Circuit City has it for about $250. My sisters took it to Scotland and the pics are amazing. We printed over half of them and they all look good. I can send you a few pics if you would like so you can see how good they look. The only editing I had to do out of over 300 pics was to zoom in on a cow my sister liked.

The reason I went with the Kodak was because of Suite Disney's pictures. I think she has awesome pics and she uses a Kodak camera. I just couldn't find the same one.

Good luck!!!!

Another vote for the 4330! I love mine, and I love the dock, too!

If you look at the links in my signature those pics were taken with Canon Powershot G2. We love the camera.

I have a kodak that I love. I also own a Hp that I like but there is some things i wish it could do.

Thanks for all your suggestions!

Dan, thanks for the website! I can't believe how many times I am at Debs site and I have never noticed Zurg's page. Great site and exactly what I was looking for ! I actually understand what Zurg is saying.

Thanks Again!

WOW! How is this the first time I have seen that part on Deb's site?!!? You did a GREAT job. I like the fact that isn't not a bunch of technical mumbo jumbo. I hear enough of that stuff at work, so it's nice to see stuff here that's not that way.

Well it was either jokes or mumbo jumbo. I like jokes better.

As a matter of fact I was looking at the Kodak 443 today. Can anyone give me info on that one. It looks really good but I would like some other input on it.

We have a Cannon Powershot G2.

We really like it.

I've loved every Cannon product I've ever owned.

We just got a new camera...its a Nikon Coolpix 3100. Its great. great optical zoom and details. It takes little 1 minute movies. We love it...we had the Kodak one and it was great for a starter camera. We found that we wanted more zoom and better picture resolution.
good luck !
;)
