I recently made the switch to a digital camera after a thief took my old 35mm. Question: Should I break down and buy extra memory cards or are there kiosks where I could download my memory card to a photo-CD? How much would that cost? Where would those kiosks be? Please hurry with an answer because I have one more shopping day :jumping4: before I hit the road!!! :moped:

I suggest extra memory cards. That way if something happens to one of the cards you haven't lost all your pictures.

We take along 2 memory cards. Each with at least 128 mb of memory if we are staying a week. Also, I have a rechargable battery in my camera. It died on the 6th day of our Disney Cruise. So now I always carry an extra charged battery too.

Good info to have. This will be our first trip WITH a digital camera. We already bought a battery charger :teeth: Learned that tip REAL quick. I'm exicited that I can see immediatly if I like the pic. If not, quick, take another one! :flower1:

Had a great trip!! I took advice and bought an extra memory card. I'm glad I did because in one week I took 417 photos that i kept. I deleted others during the day as I reviewed them and realized I had missed the shot in some way. Now I have to get them organized and onto a photo-CD
