Digital camera problem - Please help

My DD3 got a hold of my camera and somehow must have pushed on the lens. The camera does not work at all now because the lens will not come out. You can tell by looking at it that one side is pushed further in. The lens tries to come out but all you get is a beeping noise. It is a pretty decent Olympus camera that I would hate to just throw away since it is less than a year old. Does anyone have any experience getting something like this repaired? Of course this would happen 10 days before Christmas when a new camera just isn't in the budget and I really need to have one that works.

Did you keep any paperwork? Could you have a warranty that you don't remember? I have one that covers my camera even if it is damaged due to my fault.
