Digital camera info needed please

We need a camera, and I know nothing about digital at all. the higher the megapixal, the better the quality? I found an Olympus C-5000 Zoom on sale at Circuit City for $359.99. Good camera? Good price? What other accessories will it need? I am more interested in having them professionally printed rather than having them on a disc for the computer. Thanks for any info.

I wouldn't get caught up in the whole megapixel(MP) talk unless you plan to print photos larger than 5x7s. If larger pictures is your intention, then this is where you would notice the difference of a high-res camera. There are many good cameras out on the market. Some of the older ones that I have use and enjoy are the Nikon Coolpix 775(now discontinued) and my current Sony DSC-P10.
