I have a great pic of DS that we took with the digital. It is on my PC, uploaded to Imagestation, and burned onto a CD just in case. My question is, what would be the best way to get this printed? I was thinking of taking the CD to Ritz camera or some such, having them make one print (to make sure the image and resolution print OK) and then if that looks OK, getting cards made from it.

What do you all do?

I can e-mail mine to where I want them printed off. I can also give a disk of any kind (CD included I think) or even let them read off of a CF card if I needed them to. For that one, I'd give them a copy on CD or disk (call and find out what they specifically take) but make sure it came from my computer and not on imagestation (they image quality is diminished once uploaded there) and ask for one copy. Actually though I am considering going to Walmart too now that they have about $.25-.30 copies.

I have used Image Station before, but I much prefer www.shutterfly.com. They have a great selection of holiday borders that you can get on 4x6 prints or a selection of holiday greeting cards and I feel their print quality is superior to Image Station.

We've had great success with photoaccess.com. You can upload the picture to an album at thier site and then order prints. The quality is very nice and service is really fast.

I used to upload mine to ofoto.com and order them online. But now I have a Sony dye-sub photo printer and the quality is as good as any developer. :) I'm thinking of making my own Christmas cards this year, too. :)

I use shutterfly and was very pleased with my first batch of photos I ordered from them.

I too use www.shutterfly.com I am very pleased with the prints I get from them. I don't know if they are still offering this but I got 15 free prints just to try them. It's worth looking into.

My first order via shutterfly was for 101 prints (yikes...don't ask) and with the 15 freebies, the quantity discount and shipping, it was like $42. They were extremely quick about getting them out too, only a matter of days and they email you when they hit the mail and are on their way to you.
