Is there a way to transfer pics back to CF card?

I made a photo album at Snapfish.com then emptied my CF card. Now if I transfer pics from Snapfish to my CD R/W, the pictures burn at half the size.
I thought if I put them back onto CF card, I can then put them directly to CD R/W and maybe they'll be full screen again.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Did you transfer the images from your CF card to your hard drive, and then upload the pix to Snapfish? If so, you should have a good copy of the image on your hard drive.

A question about "size": you say the pictures burn at half the size. Do you mean file size, as in you're looking at the bytes and seeing that the file size is smaller? Or are you looking at the images in some viewer software and seeing the images display at a different size? If the latter, could this just be a matter of how you have your viewer set (zoom)?

I don't use Snapfish, but many digital photo upload services do not support copying the photos back to your machine. You may be trying to grab a lower resolution version of your photos that's intended for screen viewing only. Putting that file on the CF card instead of your hard drive or a CD won't make a difference in the resolution or size of the photo... think of your CF card as simply one more place to save files. It won't change them.

I think your best bet is to see if you still have the photos on your hard drive, or wherever it was that you put them when you originally copied from your compact flash card.

I cleaned out my hard drive and got rid of the pictures. A mistake I won't make again.

Anyway, I can copy them back to my hard drive from Snapfish, but the pictures are half the size, maybe 4x6 on my screen. And when I burn them onto a CD they stay that way, even when I do a slideshow.
It might have something to do my viewer software, Picture and Fax Viewer, which I also don't like.

If the only place you have them is snapfish then bringing them back won't "grow" them again. You could try downloading them to your hard drive and enlarging them with some photo editing software.
