Our family went to the Fort Worth zoo today. It's big and hot and humid with lots of walking and crowds to loose your two year old DS in.
It was great practice for going to WDW!
DH was already talking strategies for our trip in December.
We learned:
Must have strap or harness contraption to hold on to 2 yr old DS when he is tired of the stroller!
Everyone was very satisfied eating a lunch of grapes and rolled up deli sliced turkey, trail mix, and cheese sticks. It fit nicely compact in a small cooler that was easy to take with us, along with small zip loc bags to put everyone's portions in. (If you've seen the toddlers with the baggie of cherios, you can get the picture). We just picked a shady spot and sat and ate!
Seems like everyone picks the same color matching shirt to wear (orange or red or yellow). Should we wear matching sun visors in a hideous color?
Our digital camera batteries quit on us half way through the zoo. Don't want to carry extra in the park. Are there any out there that will last the whole day before hitting the recharge cradle at night? Ours is a Kodak Easyshare.
Thanks!
