Hey did anyone else get in? Looks like I did!!!:banana::banana: Does anyone remember what is in the host pack?

didn't get in but Each party package will include:

* 1 Party Planner Booklet — with 6 host coupons for free pizza and 15 guest coupons for $4.00 off pizza
* 1 Supreme Pizza Cutter
* 15 Party Rally Beads
* 1 Referee Apron

Yep, that's the pack.

Sadly, I got: "Not a Finalist". :(

Ohhh...sounds good. Thanks a bunch!!!

sorry to hear you didn't get in. I love these parties!!!! anyone else get in?

I guess I'm in the minority. I'm not trying to be a "party pooper" but I just don't get it. I just got my first one. The sandwich thins. So, they gave me four coupons to buy sandwich thins and then gave me those reusable bags to pass out and some calorie cards and paper and a stupid plastic sandwich holder. I just don't get it. and they gave me $1.00 off coupons to pass out. They want me to hold a party, which will cost me what, to promote their product? It is a bunch of junk that they gave me if you ask me. The buzz thing is much better. You can buzz as many people as you want and get points to purchase something for yourself. They aren't trying to get you to spend your own money, just do an honest job. I really don't get how houseparty is a good deal. Not trying to be a downer. :confused3

I think it depends on the party you get, the Your Shape one was awesome, I got that Wii game and Just dance. Had a cookie one once that was nothing special. Some are better than others.

I really think it depends on the party. I had the Sargento Finishers party last year and the Digiorno party in January. Both were wonderful and I didn't have to spend much on food. For the sargento finishers it even came with plates and utensils.

Then I had the Sandwich Thins last week and the party pack wasn't that great. I had to spend quite a bit since all we got was the bread. Then again, you know what's going to come with the party pack when you sign up.

I got in to host the pizza party...first time applying to host a party...I hope it is fun and hopefully will have more opportunities in the future :cool1:

I got the Digiorno football one for January. (Unfortunately MIL passed away, never had the party, but...)

To the one who asked the "whys"- it definately varies product to product. There was one for Greenworks cleaners last year that was seeds (this was like in October, can't plant seeds in Maine in October!) and coupons to save money on GW products. (Not even any free to try.) It was DUMB.

I don't plan a party just around the product, I use the ~whatevers~ at the next family function we're already doing as extended family gets together about once a month. (So I may not do it right on the day they say.) It's more of a "here's some free stuff we can use, we'll see if we like it" vs a "hey company XYZ has a new product, so let's throw a party around it." I suppose the end result is the same, gets the word out. :)

The pizza one was definately one of the better ones, both in terms of usability and I think for them to get their product "out there".
