I am looking to start digi scrapping and I'm wondering which is the best program to use? I am fairly computer savy so that should not be an issue, I'm just looking for suggestions of a good program to use. Thanks

I use Photoshop, but I know others use Photoshop Elements since its suppose to be easier. Photoshop is a bit intiminadating at first, but there are a lot of good guides and tutorials out there to help you learn the program. I taught myself how to use it probably 5 years ago and have loved it ever since, but still have a lot to learn.

I use Paint Shop Pro 9 and am loving it, although I still have a LOT to learn, but the basics were pretty easy to learn, even for someone like me! LOL! :goodvibes

I use Photoshop Elements 5.0. I love this program, although I had to purchase another program to help me use it for scrapbooking. This program "The Scrapper's Guide to Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0" has been so much help and now I am addicted to digi scrapbooking.:rotfl:

Yes, the Scrapper's Guide stuff is good. I'm also a member there.

I started out with Photoshop Elements 4 and recently moved up to Photoshop CS2. I agree that it's probably a good idea to start with Elements; it's geared more toward the home user and is a little more simplistic in places.

PSE 5 and CS 2, depending on the computer I am using. PSE is much easier for a beginner and what I use most often. However, it cannot do all of the things I like to do when scrapping now, such as wrapping text and such.

I use Paint Shop Pro X. I like it once I learned the program (althought it seems like I am always learning something new)

I use mostly PS Elements... I also have an old version of PS that I sometimes use. Elements works for almost anything you would probably need... It's much less expensive than PS.

i use digital image 9 but have tried photoshop but still having trouble finding my way around it...
i like dip 9 for how easy it is to do layouts. i have only been doing this for a few years but love it.
