DIS Digital Scrappers Recipe Challenge #1

With Summer coming to a close, I think we probably all have lots of summer time pics to scrap! Here is the recipe for this challenge:

4 different papers (they can be solid or printed, and they can be used however you'd like on the page)
4 photos
1 reference to summer (can be anywhere in your LO... title, journaling, whatever)
5 flowers (can include more if you wish, but please include at least 5)
3 ribbons or ric-rac (any combination of the two as long as there are 3 total)
1 tag
6 lines of journaling (can be one word per line or 20+ words per line ... whatever you wish!)

Toss anything else into the recipe to make it "your own." Post by midnight PST on Friday September 19th.

Unfortunately we haven't had a summer in the UK! Just lots and lots and lots of rain! So I have no nice pictures to scrap but will check back to see everyone elses!

The pictures actually don't have to be about summer... there just has to be a reference to summer somewhere in your LO. So you could always scrap about the rain and make a reference to looking forward to summer if you wanted to play. Creative interpretation is welcomed... someone can even scrap about their cat named "Summer." LOL! I am always stretching the rules with challenges over at SM... makes me feel like a rebel!

The moderators would like to remind you to be respectful when talking to or about other posters. Also, please bear in mind that the Creative Community is a place of INclusion, not EXclusion. Just as cooking discussions do not need to be only about Disney recipes or gardening discussions do not need to be only about Disney gardens, the scrapping board is not just about scrapping Disney photos.

While we like to have people go to other sites to visit, we hope this is home to many, if not all of you. Sticking to just Disney may lead to people go elsewhere and we don't want that! We have become a family here over the years and every year our family photo gets larger as we incorporate new sisters and brothers into the clan. Yes it gets a little squishy at times when you get stuck between Uncle Earl and Aunt B, but don't worry we'll make room for everyone. So please just have a little patience and respect as we work out the kinks for a new family photo for Grandpa Pete.

I think when you put that you have to have flowers in the LO... it is a challenge directed at me But I LOVE the way this LO turned out too. Thanks to all of these great challenges, I am loving the way my Disney vacation LOs are turning out. Thank you for hosting.

Jenifer -- LOVE your LO. The colors are fantastic -- perfect for your LO, and I really love how you used the flowers. The Shrimp Factory in Cabo -- Yum!! Looks like you had a blast on your Disney Cruise! We didn't really see much of Cabo. It was SO DARN HOT!! DS did the dolphin swim and then we went back to the ship and the kids headed straight for the Mickey Pool! LOL!! Thanks for playing -- I know you are working like a maniac on your DCL album!

it's a template of Britt's......which can be found HERE I'm still kinda confused myself as to the "rules" of doing quickpages with designers' stuff.........so I'm leery of doing it. But with the template, you can do whatever you want! I'm thrilled you liked my LO enough to suggest it......THANKS!!!
