Difficulty getting EPCOT resort during F&G?

We're planning a May 2018 trip for my DDs birthday. It looks like F&G goes through May of 2017. How difficult is it to get a studio villa at BCV or BWV (standard or preferred) during that time frame? I really would love to be the EP area.

Not a problem if you book before the 7 month point, fair-good right at 7 months, not so good after that.
You might also look at the Poly, it's a short walk to the EPCOT monorail from the DVC units. May even be less than the walk from BC or BW to EPCOT

BWV preferred pool/garden view studios are usually open during that entire time at 7 months out (have been for the last 4 years and that has been true for all of May including Memorial Day weekend time); standard or boardwalk view usually have issues; BCV was a problem this year during its refurb that took rooms out service weekly but possibly a better chance next year, but not known yet.
