Different Refillable mug ?

I have a question I have not seen answered here.
It used to be that you could purchase a refillable mug for either soda or coffee/cocoa etc. they were two different mugs.

I have read of people getting coffee cocoa, and soda using one mug now.

Anyone who has recently gotten one is it for all those beverages or is it still suppose to be one or the other, in spite of what people MAY do?

I've never heard of two different mugs, we have only ever bought one mug for all beverages, coffee, cold drinks, hot chocolate.

As of a month ago, everyone was selling the same 2007 mug except CSR. The new mugs are no longer resort-specific.

The 2007 mug doesn't hold much pop, but fits in cupholders. The cute CSR one holds a ton, but doesn't fit in the cup holders.

For all I know, CSR may have started selling the new mug, too.

I took my mug to the pool side bar and they wouldn't fill it up with the stuff on tap...

There were two sizes at one time. A kids cup and adult cup. I got mine at Poly a few years ago.

I guess I should have specified that I meant anything at the refill station.

In the 10 years or so we've been getting them, there has never been a "kids" refillable mug offered. They've always been exactly the same. We have some from every resort we've stayed at since 1996, which is most of them.

Does anyone know if the mugs will change for 2008? I know that A Year of a Million Dreams was extended, and I was wondering if anyone knew about 2008 mugs?

That is what I was looking for we are going at the end of Dec.- to Jan. and I wondered if there would be a mug change during our trip. What if I liked the second one better?

New mugs are too small. By the time you put a little ice in them, they hold less than 1/2 can of soda.

Before the Wilderness Lodge switched over to the YOAMD mugs I know they sold two versions of their Resort logo mugs. The 1st one was the same design as the YOAMD mugs, the one that can fit into cup holder and the 2nd one is the one that can not fit into the cup holder, but holds a lot of soda.

You can use them in any of the resorts during your stay...each resort has a specific location (some have two or more) where you can refill them. They do not refill them in the parks.

The water parks have their own mug thing going on (different mug than the hotels), but the theme parks don't.

They're $12 before tax.

When I was at the various stores around the parks and their counter service locations, I noticed that they were selling a Pirates Of The Caribbean mugs which you could purchase if you spent so much money. However I don't recall seeing anything which said they could be used to get drinks while in the parks, so my guess is that it is just a souvenir mugs.
