Different PAT for same Family

For my cruise in December we have 3 staterooms but we are all in the same family.

I will be able to online check-in for 2 of the staterooms but my brother will checking himself in.

My question is: if we have different check in/PAT's can we all arrive at the earliest PAT? We will all be arriving together, but I am guessing that if he does the online check in later then he will probably get a later PAT time or boarding group.

For instance, if my PAT is 11:30 boarding group 8, but his PAT is 1pm boarding group 15, can he enter with us at 11:30?

It will be up to the person checking you in; officially they recommend everyone enter with the latest group if you wish to stay together for certain. If you're all in the same van, and its one person, that's a gamble I would take, but its still possible they would ask him to come back later.

The official answer is that if you want to board as a group you all come at the last PAT. You will hear people say that they have been able to all check in at the earlier time, and you will hear people say that the people with the later PAT were turned away. You won't know if you get lucky or not until you show up. They were enforcing the rule more while spacing everyone out for the at port covid testing; I haven't heard any specific comments if it has been relaxed more recently.
If you are arriving together and getting on as early as possible is important to you, tell your brother to check in online himself at midnight to get an earlier PAT then if he waits until the next morning. Or accept the fact that his family may join you a little later.

Our September cruise we had 3 cabins. We were told by the CM to board on the last group. On the port arrival, we were going to try to arrive between PAT 2 & 3 time, but it was the scheduled launch day for Aremtis ? And traffic was bad. Got there 30 minutes after last PAT. It was a slow painful ride on 528. Took use 90 minutes to get from WDW to PC. Usually only takes us 45 minutes.
