When are your tickets for the park considered valid for a day?

For example if MK has the EHM at night( past midnight from what I have been told on certain nights) and you take your 3 day hopper pass and you enter after midnight to MK...... Could you do it and how many days would you have left on your ticket, one or two?

Would entering after midnight count as day 1 on your pass or would it eat up a day from the day before?

I believe that Disney thinks of it as "park days" and not necessarily "calendar days." That is, if you enter at 12:30am on Monday for an EMH that is attached to Sunday, you'll be using that "park day" (Sunday) because the MK hasn't closed from Sunday yet. (If that makes sense.) Then, if you come back to the parks at noon on Monday -- the next "park day" -- you'll be using another day.

That would be my guess too....becuase it's just run by the machines, I would guess that entering after midnight would take a day from your ticket. You could probably argue it and get another day....or you could just plan to be there at 11 something instead!!
