different arrival dates (DVC) using Magical Express

I'll be checking into Pop 11/9 (Cash) then switching to BCV (using points) and leaving there 11/16.
Friend will be arriving 11/12 and departing 11/14. Staying w/me at BCV. (Thanks Nancy)
Can she use Magical Express? and how does she go about signing up?

HI Barb...I'm assuming that she is going to be listed on your reservation. Whoever made the reservation needs to call and get her put on. Then, she can use it to come and go when she needs to. But, if she isn't listed on the room reservation at BCV, then she won't be able to use DME.

Do I just call DVC with her flight info?
I had to call DVC for my return flight as my return date is after using points the night before.
Upon Arrival I called Magical express directly since Im starting on cash at Pop
DVC will send her the Magical Express booklet w/Tags & barcode for ride to/from airport/Beach Club Villas?

DME doesn't care how you pay for your Disney stay...I've started at a cash resort, moved to DVC on points...also started with DVC on points and left from cash resort. They only care about whether or not it's a Disney owned resort and that you are arriving/departing on a day that you are at the Disney resort.
I don't think they much care about when Nancy is coming in either. My dd and dh arrived 36 hrs after I did and DME told me I didn't need to tell them anything other than my arrival times. Then dh has left BCV, while on points, while dd and I moved to POR, on cash...all the while using DME both ways for all of us.
I don't think they will send an extra packet to her though. It's one packet per reservation. You will most likely find 4 sets of luggage tags..two per person on the room reservation. I would just send her hers when you get them. Or, she can just leave them untagged, and retrieve them herself when she gets to the airport..then she'll have them as soon as she gets to the villa, rather than having to wait several hours. Nice since you'll already be checked into the villa.

You probably could have had MS do it all for you. I know that when I moved from BCV to POR, MS made my DME reservations both ways...said it was no big deal.

Ive always been told it needs to be booked separately. Cash through ME and points through DVC. I'll let you know the outcome
