Differences in bus times to parks

I am trying to decide where to stay September 2017. It's between WL because of boat ride to MK. We have to small girls in a stroller. AOA because my kids want to stay there, but I am concerned about how long it will take to get to MK and back by bus and one of the moderate hotels because we are going during a time which free dinning is usually offered and we might want to take advantage but I am also concerned about the time of bus travel.

I will also add that we are only staying for 4 nights and only going to MK.

Really the difference is not that much. The boat ride is 20 minutes from WL to MK and a bus ride to AoA takes about the same amount of time maybe 5 minutes more if that. I say stay where the kids want to stay. Plus you will have to deal with all the construction going on at WL.

The bus time from Port Orleans resorts is about 15 minutes or so to MK. POR is usually included in the DDP offers . POFQ not so much . The bus to MK from POR has recently been changed during the morning. Now there is one bus going to the Main building depot and another bus to the other three. The website www.portorleans.org has plenty of info. Based on our experiences staying at POFQ the two resorts now only share MK buses in the early AM (6:30 - 7:00+) or if a bus picking up overflow at PORQ stops at a depot in POR.
Going back they have seperate pickup locations.

Thanks for your feedback. What about the one bus stop at AOA? Is it problematic? Meaning a huge crowd of people trying to onto one bus? We have only stayed at the Contemporary and it has one bus stop and we only used it to go to animal kingdom. The bus was basically empty on the way there and back, so we had a good bus experience, but that was our only bus trip.

Thanks for your feedback. Since reading your response I have done some more research on AOA transportation and i am seeing a lot of negative comments about the wait at the hotel and the wait coming back from MK. Do you have any experience with theses situations?
