difference SBD v Atkins??

I am currently doing the SBD, but what is the main difference between Atkins & SBD?

I'm not very familiar with South Beach, but from what I understand whole grain carbs and more fruits are permitted on SBD than on Atkins.

I am not an expert on Atkins and am currently doing SB, but from what I know you can have more high fat meats on Atkins, but less carbs. You also keep track of your carbs with a point system.
