Does anyone know the difference in the dates between what was offered for FD bounceback last year (Aug-Sept) and the dates WDW is offering for the FD offer now?

thanks
Xanthe

I don't think there is one. I had bounceback and dropped it (long story) but I am pretty sure it ended at the same time. I don't recall the start date though.

Thanks! I'm sorry you had to cancel :(.

I think the start date of the BB FD offer was Aug 23 or 24th but I wasn't sure of the end!

My bb was not free dining, but 30-45% off room. It included the last week of October, and dates in November & December in addition to the free dining bb dates.

There was a free dining bounceback. 8/23-10/23 of 2008 could book free dining for 8/23-10/8 of 2009 and get free dining

Quick question....we are going in June, if I book a bounceback for fall, would I be able to get Free Dining too? Are bounceback's even being offered still?

Thanks so much!

No. If you go in June the bounceback will be for a discounted room rate for select dates in 2009

Thanks for the info, I figured that's too good to be true, but thought I would ask anyway.

but you don't need a bounceback offer now -- you can just call now and book the free dining...the offer for the public started today. You'll have to put a deposit down, but if you're not sure about going, you can cancel later & get your deposit back (ask long as you cancel before final payment is due)

I wonder what would be better. Last summer the bounceback offer was 40% off the room rate. If you stayed at a deluxe wouldn't that be a better offer than free dining? Or maybe I should familiarize myself with the price of the dp. We have never used the dp so I'm really not aware of its potential value.

From everything I've read and heard, 40% is better if you plan to stay at a Deluxe but I think there are a lot of variables. The free dining is best for my family because we all count as adults for the dining plan (all over 10!) and we stay at value resorts.

I would definitely agree if everyone was on the adult plan it would be a greater savings. I'm just glad we aren't there yet. I hate to think about disney prices with 3 adult priced children someday.

FD is a HUGE savings when the 4 of us go but I would LOVE a 40% code for next May for my Anniversary. Then my DH and I can stay at a nice, romantic Deluxe!!

thanks
