Hi fellow scrappers and craft s,went to a crop meet yesterday and use a Big Shot, now I know what they can do, sort of. What can a Cutterbug do.Pro and cons of both? Thanks

I am so glad you asked this question! I was at Michaels yesterday with a 45% off coupon and I was trying to decide between the Big Kick or the Cuttlebug. I ended up leaving without buying either one. I just couldn't figure out which one I needed. The only difference that I could see was that the Big Kick can do larger things than the Cuttlebug. I can't wait to hear what everyone thinks the pros and cons are of each one.
I've been thinking about this too (although DH thinks I need either like a hole in the head). I think the main thing is about storage - I read the Big Shot is heavy, and awkward to store if you don't have a dedicated crafting space (which I don't). So it might depend on whether you have room to leave it out (and won't let it get dusty ) or whether you need something easy to hide.....errr.. put away or carry around.
The main difference is that with the Big Shot, you can cut with BIG dies. They both do pretty much the same things, except for that. The XL dies will not fit in the Cuttlebug.
Hi again did some my craft space is compact so with the cuttle bug being compact maybe that is the way for me to go. I found the CB with bonus accesories at Amazon for $56.00 w/ free shipping. An early gift for me from me. Is that a pretty good deal?Or will BF bring out better deals? Thanks
You can read all kinds of information in these threads about the different die machines. I've used both and my personal preference is the big shot. I like the sturdy handle at the top to hold on while using. Yes it is heavier than a cuttlebug.
