Any info on the new Reflections resort? Sounds very similar to WL and will also be a deluxe right new to WL

It will be located near the site of River Country. It will be a combination of hotel rooms and DVC resort villas.

Have you seen any pictures/plans? Wondering what the "looks" of it will be and if it will be similar to WL as far as theme/looks.

WL is next door to FW, we always bike over for lunch or dinner when we stay at FW. I hope we can do the same with this new resort.

I suppose it depends upon how "next door" is defined. Personally, I'd say that Disney's All-Star Resorts are next door to each other. And, Disney's Yacht Club Resort is next door to Disney's Beach Club Resort.

But, Disney's Wilderness Lodge is nearly a mile from the Settlement Trading Post area of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

(For anyone not great with distances: The path all the way around World Showcase Lagoon in Epcot is roughly one mile.)

Disney's Wilderness Lodge was created to resemble the historic lodges found at our greatest National Parks (Yellowstone, Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon). As you noticed, this new resort will be more modern in appearance. We'll have to wait and see what it looks like on the inside. But, I'm guessing it will be much more like a modern upscale hotel. Depending upon your point of view, that could be good or bad.

Yes, they are a mile apart with woods in between. I have stayed at both, plus I have gone to River Country, which was in Fort Wilderness when I stayed there. So I don't see any need to try and compare what Wilderness Lodge looks like to what Reflections may look like.

As far as "woods in between", there is a paved beautiful bike/walking path that goes from one resort to the other. A very enjoyable pleasurable thing we do every time we stay at FW. Looking forward to doing the same with the new resort hopefully. Being really modern may still make it a little "off" so maybe it will still have some woodsy type feel to it the way both FW and WL are set up.

I will guarantee you walk that far or farther every time you go to a park in WDW. On a bike particularly which is the way we do it, it is a pretty easy and very pleasurable ride, and see many walking it. If you can't walk around a WDW park it would definitely be too far.

Yea, that would be bad. I can get that kind of hotel anywhere. That's ok though. The more modern resorts they put on property, the easier our decision will be to choose a resort when we book.

Yes, we have used that path when we took the Segway tour at Fort Wilderness. We saw plenty of deer!
