Difference between ressies with CRO and Disney Travel??

Aside from the difference in the deposit, cancellation policy and tickets to minigolf, what's the difference in using CRO and Disney Travel?? I usually would call the number on the back of the Disney Club card, but seeing how that's no more.... I made reservations for our trip next year (planning on putting the confirmation letter in DH's gift!! ) and I am now not sure who I made it with!! We definitely want to do mini golf so I guess I should call up and make sure I got the right department!!

Look at your confirmation number. If you have an 8 digit number, you have a WDTC reservation. If you have a 12 digit number, you have a CRO reservation.

Keep in mind too that depending on what you are getting will dictate which way you can be booked. Certain deals and codes like AP rates can only be booked through CRO, not WDTC. Other deals can only go through WDTC, not CRO. You won't have a choice on those.

In general, the only way you can choose who to book with is by getting a rack rate on a room only reservation. Then you can request it go through either one.

The WDTC room only is still a package (called the basic package) as it includes the room and the tickets to WWoS or minigolf depending on the current offer. WDTC requires a $200 down payment and payment in full 45 days prior to arrival. It also has cancellation penalties when you cancel inside of 45 days.

CRO requires a one night's deposit plus tax. The balance is due at resort check in. You can cancel without a penalty 6 days prior to arrival.

Since my confirmation # is 12 digits, I guess I have CRO. Seeing how the trip is still way off, I think I'll leave it that way and when any discounts become available, I can adjust things as need be.
