HI - I was just thinking about the possibility of booking a std view at Jambo instead of a Savannah view at Kidani to save some points.

We are travelling with another family for the first time, and had planned on the 2 bed at Kidani, having stayed in a 1 bed there at Christmas and finding it HUGE!!! :)

Are the two beds at Jambo a lot difference in size to the 2 beds at Kidani ? - and will we be disappointed if we opt for one? (I wouldn't want a std view at Kidani as if I can't have a savannah view then I would only really be happy with a pool view - it is a once in a lifetime trip for my friends, so I don't want them to end up with a bad view).

Many thanks for any info:thumbsup2

Two bedroom villas at Jambo House will all be lockoffs. Meaning the second bedroom will have a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa. Plus the kitchenette and the separate entrance.

There won't be an extra bathroom at the entrance to the villa at JH like you have at KV. Also the master bathroom won't have the separate shower and tub at JB like at KV. It will be a jetted tub with a shower in the tub.

JH is converted hotel rooms vs brand new construction at KV. So the rooms may be a bit smaller in some places at JH over the KV rooms.

All 2-bedroom villas at Jambo House are lock-offs. They will be made up of a 1-bedroom and a studio with a connecting door. At Kidani Village you can reserve either a lock-off or a dedicated 2-bedroom. A dedicated can only be reserved as a 2-bedroom and will have 2 queen beds in the second bedroom.

As to square footage: 1,173 sq. ft. in Kidani Village (dedicated), 1075 sq. ft. in Jambo House (Value is smaller), 1,173 sq. ft. in Kidani Village (lock-off).

The Jambo House 2-bedroom will have 2 baths (1 in the 1-bed and 1 in the studio). At Kidani Village, both the lock-off and dedicated 2-bedrooms have 3 baths.

The biggest difference is the loss of the 3rd bathroom or "common" bath. The other piece is you lose about 100 sq. feet.

Having stayed in both, the difference in space between Kidani and Jambo House was very noticeable for our family. The major difference was the bathroom situation. At KV, there are 2 bathrooms in the 1 bedroom, at JH there is only one. The bathroom at JH was entirely in one room - meaning only one of our family members could use it at a time. It was awful trying to get everyone ready and out the door in the morning. I much prefer the 1 bathroom style of other villas were there is a separate sink in a different area, so 2 people can be getting ready at the same time.

thank you everyone for such detailed replies:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I think I will stick to the Kidani 2 beds, as although the extra bathroom probably wouldn't matter to our family, it might make the difference when we are sharing with others - plus I admit, I fell in love with the huge tub in the one bed at Kidani - not sure I am ready to forego that just yet!!!:cloud9::goodvibes

I think I will speak to our friends and ask them what they feel about a savannah view - as I must admit we didn't really sit out in Dec but then it was quite cold. We will be going in October next time and whilst it will be warmer, I am wondering whether we will really use the balconies if it is dark once we get back from the parks each day??

Thanks again for all of your help:lovestruc:lovestruc

Hope you have a Great time at Kidani!:cool1:

We loved our 2 Br Dedicated at Kidani! Loved having the third bathroom!
Only thing I would like to see at Kidani is Quick Service, then it would be Perfect! Really enjoyed our stay there!:thumbsup2
