Diet Support Thread

I don't know about you...but I have the hardest time dieting. I love chocolate and pretty much any other sweets. I figured maybe we could start a thread to include recipes and some moral support for us dieters!! Also...maybe some good exercise tips. Anyone else up for it? :flower3:
 
You should consider posting in the W.I.S.H. forum. It's for just this kind of thing! :earsboy:
 
I'm trying to eat better lately too... a couple things I found...fat free cinnamon graham crackers...very good for a snack.

low fat banana cream pie (could substitute and make chocolate):
1 - fat free graham cracker pie crust
2 - 4 serving size fat free puddings (either 1 vanilla, 1 banana or 2 each of whichever flavor)
2c fat free milk
1c fat free cool whip.
1 banana

mix both puddings and milk. add 1c of cool whip. mix in chopped up banana. put in pie crust and refrigerate.

Its really good too (except I used whole milk) but for being low fat, it was a good pie. I may try the chocolate pudding next time too.
 
count me in..i am trying to lose just a bit of weight ..but more than that really get healthy..i got an eliptical for christmas and i am working out on it every day..just 20-25 minutes..i am eating on salad plates now instead of full size dinner plates...trying not to snack at night..that is my big thing..watch my tv shows, snack on something..i have cut that out...drink at least 8 8oz glass of water a day....and just move..the more moving i can do the better....i am 5 feet 6.5 inches tall and weight 155..i would like to weight what i did when my hubby and i got together almost 9 years and two kids ago..which was 145...
 

DH got me the lateral thigh trainer for christmas. I just started using it. It isn't a very long tape, only about 15 minutes, but supposedly if you do it every day you will see results. I can't move around so much during the day...I'm a legal assistant and sit a desk for the majority of the day. I try to get up and move around as much as possible, but I spend a lot of time sitting on my butt working on my computer.
 
There is LOTS of this kind of support on the W.I.S.H forum. It stands for We're Inspired to Stay Healthy. This thread will probably get moved over there anyway!!
